just got back weather hot 32 on fri, food not to good as they consider it unheathly to eat hot food so hotel food was tepid like dish water,the restaurants where bit better but not all of them the piccadily nr trakia gardens and the national were good and the one opp the piccadily did good brekkie for around 8 levs.went to isntabul on 2 day trip really enjoyed that , dont bother doing the excurision in the evening you could explore more on yr own really wish we had done that cos you were only sat on a coach with an hr to be in the town for eats and it was so busy you wouldnt have had time to eat.the hotel was in the heart of the town.we did the morn excurision as well which was good u went on the bosphous river which was very nice,but only had 30mins in the grand bizzare but the shops all got a bit samey so may it was long enough?as for all the horror stories on here about being mugged i never saw any agro or threating behaver obvisoly you take same percautions as you do at home with handbag etc,everyone we meet were dead friendly,even the taxi driver who hepled us when we thought we was lost and all we had to do was go round the corner we had a great laff with him ,and he tooted us if he was driving past,if you dont want to go in a paticular restaurant just say no thank you ,they ok about it they dont like being ignored,even the midges didnt bother me and had 2bites in 2 weeks a record for me.we did the brougas shopping trip wasnt much there to warrent 3 hrs had wine tasting afterwards not worth the time, nor the blue mountains unless yr going to go up the skilift which i never had the head for heights,though they take you by coach u never really saw much.and the meal that was provided was horrible.although the food was a let down the ppl were reaally nice.nessbar was really pretty our hotel had about 50 kids from russia doing a dance festivel in nessabar which we went to see they were very talented and so well behaved in the hotel,the land train ran into the centre and cost 3 levs,overall food was disapointing but still had great time hope this helps

Glad to hear you had a decent holiday, hotel food excepted.

Where did you come from on the noddy train for it to cost 3 lev. This is a big jump from last year.

hi prices wasnt as cheap as i was lead to believe but still cheap?on a average nite was prop spending 70/80 levs thats with meal and drinks my hubby was drinking proper bacardi cos he didnt like the local stuff so obvisoly that was more expensive cos its imported.but i had quite a lot of vodka cocktails for that?

hi couple of prices of trips that ive got is from condor travel khans tent 65 levs blue mountains 73 levs,bulgarian village 49 levs.instanbul 2day trip 149 lev,varna dolphin trip 72 lev adult price,little bit more expensive with balkins just a few levs,think child get half price but not 100 percent on that,meals out roughly same prices all places.about 22levs for a steak,about 4levs omlette.15levs for a large skewer of chicken with chips.hope this helps

condor travel is part of the condor restaurant its on the main road,not seen that trip on any of the forms i picked up sorry,most of them advertising the same trips but someone might be more able to help you on that one,but lots of booking places abt roughly same prices

Nozzer, if there%26#39;s 3 of you, you might find it cheaper to speak to the taxi drivers - most of them will do the same trips as the tour operators, and for the 3 of you it should work out cheaper. We do it that way all the time now.
