can anyone tell me if the hotel diamond is anywhere near the polyusi also what bars and restuarants are in the vicinity beside the polyusi many thanks kate

Here is a map of SB. The Diamond is 110 and Polyusi is 149 on the map.

Only 6-7 min walk between the 2. You will find numerous bars etc not far,Barcelo Royal Beach complex, opposite Grand Hotel Oasis is near Polyusi( new shopping mall ) On the corner of the hotel Oasis was a lovely restaurant ( Think it was called the Watermill due to the fact it had a small working watermill outside. Lovely roasts and traditional Bulgarian dishes. It was always busy when we were there.

yes. I love the watermill. Think it my favourite restuarant in the resort, And they have mint sauce for your spit roast lamb. yum

and I should add, the staff remembered us from one year to the next which is nice.
