money xchange

am i better taking sterling with me and changing it once im there or should i get levs before??

You ALWAYS get a better rate in the resort for your £10/£20 STERLING notes ( not Scottish )

Much better to take an ATM card, especially Nationwide but make suer you only use machines at the the big banks (Bulbank etc). You will also get a reasonable rate for sterling in the hotels but never, never use any of the multitude of change booths. They rip you off badly. I%26#39;ve just returned and prices are rising rapidly. 2.4 Lev = £1 and, to my amazement, petrol is now almost as dear as UK. Luckily, beer is still cheap !

Hi wer`e just back and the exchange rate was last night 2.40 at raffiessan bank and across road from the diamond at the finance exchange were getting 2.43 we went there every day and never got less than 2.41 the crown and banks were all paying less than that, I`m a bit tired just now as we have not been back long but i will write a review later today, Toonman what a beautiful place .
