Hi, we%26#39;re a young couple who are attracted to Bulgaria because of it%26#39;s beaches and good prices. BUT we really really hate touristy places and massively concrete built apartments.
So far everywhere seems package holiday orientated, but is there anywhere we can go that is slightly less well worn? Perhaps with history? But near to a beach? We liked the look of St. Konstantin because it looks very peaceful, but could really do with help from people who have been to Bulgaria! Thanks a lot.

Have you looked at Balchik? This is a quiet harbour town with all basic ammenities and some history too. The area is not too touristy and there are no massive developments. There are lots of private villas for rent around the area.

Thankyou so much for your reply but we%26#39;ve actually booked our holiday now... We%26#39;re going to Sinemorets all the way down on the south coast. It was recommended on another forum and looks really tranquil. But we%26#39;ll definitely keep your suggestion in mind, I think we%26#39;re going to love Bulgaria!
