how much ciggies and spirits can you bring back from bulgaria and roughly how much do they cost?
|||
You are only allowed 200 cigarettes and 1 litre of spirits per person over 16.
Do not buy English cigarettes from street traders as these are fakes and god only knows what they put in them. Buy from supermarkets ( good one on artist street not far from Royal Beach hotel or in airport going home.
They will cost about 30 lev for 200. Most Brits out there buy Victory which are made in Bulgaria for the European tastes. Similar to Superkings, so I%26#39;ve told ( not being a smoker myself ). Cost is 26 lev for 200, the darker the blue on the packet the stronger they are ( 3 strengths )

also dont rely on getting your cigarettes from Bourgas Airport as they do not have a very varied selection of English ones

well i was confused about that to, every one was sayin 200, but wen i got there every 1 was takin 3000 so i thought id try me luck and took a 1000 victory whites witch where 26 lev for a box of 200.
Got threw custems no probz, so did everyone else.
In the duty free shop at borgus airport the women at the counter said u can take 3200 back because there still in the EU.
Hope This Helps!!

it is still 200 cigs in and out, do not take any notice of duty free shops in Bourgas as once they have made their sale they are not bothered if you get caught
|||
As Sue says, legally it is only 200 ciggies per person.
You will take a chance getting more and yes the duty free shop will sell you anything, they are just after your money and couldn%26#39;t care what happens after you leave the shop.
Customs have been known to seek the odd %26quot; tip %26quot; shall we say , scanning the bags.
