Complaints about Hotel Pomorie Sunny Beach Bulgaria

I went for a week in June, food was not fit for human consumption. My husband and I had to take all meals away from the hotel even though we paid for all inclusive.





I wrote a letter to Balkan Holidays immediately upon my return to the UK.





I received message from another Trip Advisor member saying that after they had read my comments about the hotel on this site they contacted Balkan to change hotels. Balkan said they have never received any complaints about the hotel. The Trip Advisor member asked me if I had complained in writing. I provided them with a reference number for them to quote to Balkan to show that Balkan was lying about not receiving any complaints regarding the food.





I got a letter today (finally) from Balkan basically fobbing me off saying they%26#39;ve NEVER had any complaints about the food. They also went on to say %26quot;We must advise that food in countries such as Bulgaria is generally served tepid however we can assure you that the same would have been cooked thoroughly.%26quot;





The woman who wrote this must be out of her mind or don%26#39;t know the first thing about food safety. I could thoroughly cook a chicken but if you leave it at room temperature for hours on end the bacteria start to grow.





Anyway, has anyone on this forum ever complained in writing regarding the food at Hotel Pomorie? If so would you be so kind as to share that information with me. I plan on writing a letter back and I would like to enclose some evidence of previous complaints. I%26#39;d also like to send them Health and Safety advice regarding food preperation and Storage.

Philipoldfield it would be great if you could send me a reference number of your complaint.





I also initially got a letter saying they received my letter of complaint and will deal with it in due course. My %26quot;fob off%26quot; letter arrived yesterday.





I suspect your %26quot;fob off%26quot; letter will arrive from Balkan in the post any day now stating that they%26#39;ve had no previous complaints about the food.





We stayed the 31st May to 7th of June.
