Hi i can give you some prices from when i was there in the middle of june.

Drinks:

Beer could be anywhere between 1 lev (for Bulgarian - tastes okay though) to around 3/4 for imported.

Juice (coke, fanta etc) in most bars and restaurants were around 2/3 lev, or in Djannys 1.20lev.

Spirits were around 2/3lev for bulgarian brand, or 5/6 for imported (50ml measures).

Cocktails are around 10lev, though some of the quieter places do them for 7lev, and if you time it for the happy hour, its buy one, get one free. So thats 2 cocktails for 9 lev (about £3.70)

In a supermarket the drinks were obviously much cheaper, you could pick up a litre bottle of bulgarian vodka for around 15 lev, a 2 litre bottle of coke for around 3lev and bottles of imported beer for around 2/3 levs.

As for food, it really depended on where you were when eating.

Roughly a pizza was around 8 - 12 levs, for about the size of a dinner plate, some places were more expensive, some cheaper.

Pasta was around 8 lev for carbonara and bolognaise.

Most steaks and chicken dishes also varied sometimes 15 lev to 31 lev so depends on what you want and where you are.

Burgers from the takeaways were 5 lev, and a chicken kebab (really good) were 6 lev.

Best value we found was Djannys - 4 beers, 4 cokes, 4 main courses for 40 lev, about £16/£17.

That was for 2 pizzas, spaghetti carbonara, and a chicken dish with cheese and ham in the middle of it.

We were at the Iberostar Sunny Beach Resort, so most of these prices were around that area, not sure how much difference there is further up the strip, or if the prices increase the further into the season it gets. The hotel did put the juice up from 2.70 lev to 3.30 lev during our second week. Not sure if other places would have followed that.

We spent around £750 between 2 of us, staying H/B on food and drink - we ate out roughly 6 or 7 times.

Hope this helps
