Kate,
You can go anywhere for entertainment. Hotels look upon it as if your in their bar your buying their drinks. The Iberostar for one does nightly shows
The %26quot; working girls %26quot; hang around the area from the Kuban down to the beach and immediate area. If I remember rightly the Polyusi used to be known as the Sever/Yug so thats not in the vicinity and the Diamond is on the main road.

Hi Lilltleprincess, Where were you stopped going in ?
I%26#39;m always wandering into other hotels for a nosey around and apart from the AI places the only place I was stopped was the Helena Palace.
If asked just said I was looking to book up for next year. I%26#39;ve also used the internet facilities in various hotels without problems.

Hi toonmam. I have also been wanting to also ask the question where the strip is, do you know if it is any where near the Riu Elvrica, we are a bit woried. Thank you once again. x
|||
The %26quot;Strip %26quot; as it%26#39;s become known is the area down from the Kuban hotel to the beach and the promenade area there.
The Rui Evrika is not in this vicinity, much further away ( approx 15 min walk )
Click on this map, you are number 176 and the Kuban is 105.

Hi - the polyusi is about a ten minute walk from the Kuban. There%26#39;s plenty going on in the area around the Polyusi if you didn%26#39;t want to go into the centre. There%26#39;s entertainment in a lot of the bars and we%26#39;ve never tried to go into another hotel for that reason. There is entertainment in the Polyusi but if it%26#39;s the same a previous years it%26#39;s rubbish! they have this couple singing and they do the same songs in the same order every night. Took me about a week to work out they weren%26#39;t just playing the same CD night after night.

hi toonman is the chieka park and towers in a bad area
|||
The Chaika Beach is on the sea front promenade (assuming the towers are part of the same complex).
|||
To answer your question, should add that I walked past the Chaika every night on previous years (just round corner to Polyusi) and never had any problems.
