Just come back and Prices have gone up!!

A beer is 4/5 lev (about £2). There is a lot of competition and so lots of happy hour deals.

We found a meal pf 2 main courses + Chips / potatoes (they are not included) plus a bottle of wine was about 45 lev.

Hi,

It is much better to change money in hotels or banks as the kiosks can not always be trusted.

Our hotel offered 2.2 Levs to the pound, but the hotel next door, The Lilia offered 2.37 which was a much more realistic rate.

If you want to know anything else please ask.

Hope this helps.

The Raiffeisen Bank in GS is today offering 2.44 lev to the £ for sterling notes.

( There is an ATM just before the Hotel Admiral )
