String ? Exchange

Having read all the info on exchange kiosks/banks, where in relation to the Kuban Hotel are the String ? (are they kiosks or a bank).

Hi Maria

We%26#39;ve always used the String exchange. From the Kuban you continue to the main road, towards the market area and turn right. On the left you will see the Diamond Hotel, the exchange is opposite in the Avenue centre(in front of Hotel Sun Palace), by the bus stop. They have a turquoise sign, and rates advertised outside.

Higher rate than Crown, no commission and 100% genuine.

Thanks for ino got 2.26 here today so really want to change rest of %26#39;hard earned%26#39; over there.

You will deffo get a higher rate in resort. In june/first week in July crown were giving 2.37 but we were getting 2.42 in String. ATM with Nationwide Flex card (no charges) was 2.46/2.47.

Fly monday and dare i say staying at Yavor Palace,i%26#39;ve read all reviews so don%26#39;t really know what we are letting ourselves in for. Never been to Bulgaria before usually go to Palma Nova but spent that much there last summer decided to try it, only bb at hotel so will have to try recommended eating places, to be honest if its clean thats all that bothers me, know its not gonna be the lap of luxury but the price was right.
