Toonman%26#39;s right - the standard of treatment is not great. the problem is that some insurers insist that you present your EHIC (what used to be the E111), and/or will not pay for any treatment taht would have been free with your EHIC, so best to take it anyway, just in case.

thanks for your help i will go to docs before i leave and stock up with medicines for my son
