Hotel Grand Sunny Beach

Going to Bulgaria in two weeks staying in Hotel Grand sunny Beach. Teenager travelling with us. Is there much to do for teenagers. Are clothes and jewellery cheap.

Hi there,

We just got back from Sunny Beach on Monday past (July 14th) %26amp; I thought it was great! The resort area where you will be staying has lots of shops, pubs, bars, clubs, small supermarkets, restaurants nearby and of course the beach! There is parasailing, bungee jumping, boat trips as well as other activities. Not sure how old your kids are but I%26#39;d say they will be able to occupy themselves wandering the shops, the beach and hanging out poolside at the hotel. All the hotels are in close distance to each other and are all situated along one strip of conjoined streets near the beach. We felt really safe as it%26#39;s a tourist area and was out walking well into the night with no hassle.

Take my advice and don%26#39;t pack much (wish I didn%26#39;t) as I ended up wearing the same shorts/skirts and tops most of the trip! Don%26#39;t bother filling up space (%26amp; luggage weight) with big beach towels and such, there are tons of little shops to buy beach attire (flip flops, towels, tshirts) which you can choose to leave behind if you want.

The money was about 1.91Lev per Euro so we roughly divided everything by half. Food and drink cheap especially when you compare to Irish prices back here! A 0.5L beer about 3-4lev in a pub and bottled water 0.80Lev. Lots of fast food for teenagers (but there are nice restaurants around as well). We found a nice Mexican called Mamacita%26#39;s that did great food, we had 2 mains and 2 beers for 60lev (roughly 15 Euro/ea

Have a great time - when we left the weather was high 20s with a nice breeze off the sea!
