Bit of a mix bag there.

I would suggest just strolling out on your first night and look at the various bars/restaurants most of which do either live music, karaoke etc and see what takes your fancy.

You%26#39;ve also got a small fairground on the main road as well as the Aquapark.

Plenty for the kids on the promenade.

I am going to Sunny Beach Rose apartments and I have heard that the prices have all shot up recently. there are 6 of us going so I need to have some idea of how much the prices are for food and drink can anyone advise?

Cheers

Ian, Not sure what you mean by prices have shot up.

By Bulgarian standards they are going up but compared to home they are still cheap as chips.

The most notable rise is down on the promenade and beach bars where prices are about double to other places.

You can%26#39;t call a pint of beer @ 1 lev, cocktails 2 for 1 @ about 6-7 Lev, a proper meal with drinks for between 15-25 lev. Bus to Nessebar 1 Lev.

Victory cigarettes 27 Lev for 200, English cigarettes about 32 Lev (Only buy from supermarkets )

On the beach a sunbed is 6 Lev per day as are the umbrellas.

Kebab is 6 lev, slice of pizza around 1-2 Lev.

Hope this is of some help.

Yes thanks, that is a great help. Just everyone I speak to seem to think that it has got really expensive this year with prices doubling and even trebely.

Although I have not found anyone who has just come back except for 1 person who must have gone to the most expensive places. He said he was paying £3 a pint of beer. I gues this must be in nightclubs etc.

I was starting to get a bit woried because there is 6 of us going so it can work out very expensive.

Looking forward to staying at the Rose Village apartments.

Anyway we are off tomorrow for 2 weeks.

Ian, I dare say you may pay £3 a pint in some places, if you insist on drinking imported beers,

I stick to 2 very good lagers, Kaminitza or Zagorka and at 40-50p a pint it%26#39;s nectar.

I came back from SB last weekend. Some prices have risen but not much. You can still get a beer for 1lev, or even less in some places.

Hope you have a good holiday.
