Weather at this time of year is low to mid 20%26#39;s. The evenings though are a lot cooler and a light jacket/jumper is advisable.
You could get thunderstorms but when we go they have always been in the evenings and normally clear up pretty quickly.
Not sure who you are going with but according to the Balkan site the apartments have kettle, fridge, kitchenette so tea making shouldn%26#39;t be an issue.

Hi we are going to sunny beach 2/16th june staying at the sever/yug again. We stayed B %26amp; B last time but the apartment block looks really nice and according to the broshure are fully equipped.plenty of places on site to eat/ Nikki runs the pool bar and BBQ/Chinese/english/pizzaetc. We never had a bad meal there when we were there last time. Plenty of cheap restaurants around to try. Try D%26#39;Jannys near the outside market for real cheap authentic bulgarian meals. + big bowl of homemade soup and small load of bread for about 90p

Got back from Polyusi last week, nice place but take a travel kettle they dont provide one however we were in b%26amp;b, plenty of cheap places to eat, make sure you go outside sunny beach and see the real bulgaria, we did and we were pleasantly suprised.
Like the people very much, would retire there in 10 years if I had the dosh.
You will need to buy bottled water in sunny beach area but not expensive.
The entertainment at evening time sounds good at first but after several nights with the same group singing the same songs at the same time its like groundhog day!!!! - Look at it as encouragement to see other pubs - We did

hi we were in polyusi 2 weeks ago as we had been 2yrs previously. found a loth the same but just as much again different. The best of the staff had left but danjo/his wife [barpeople] were still there and a nice new girl mary a little shy but o.k. The hotel had been done up but the price of drinks etc and meals had also gone up. we were charged 3levs pt lager 7levs vodka/coke outside around the pool if you sat nearest to hotel you were charged the same but if you went to nicki%26#39;s bar drinks were dearer and if you went to brothers bar [outside apartment block] drinks were double. There is supposed to be a happy hour every nich 7-8p.m. but the owner stopped it after 3 days because someone had damaged items in an apartments so he made every1 suffer. he is really a very unpleasant/unsociable man.He fined a kids parents 10levs caus he pulled leaves off a tree.Bingo too was a con until someone spoke up. books were sold at 1lev and they paid out 10levs a line and 30 levs a house then 10/40 and 10/50 but took in over 450 levs in games money.someone mentioned it and jane the bingo girl said%26quot; we arent trying to fleece you you know%26quot; well where was it going people were saying half to her and half to boss.so we went out every night after that. good meals to be had at D%26#39;janny%26#39;s at the market place and go to a bar called condor bar next to D%26#39;janny%26#39;s. We had 6 lagers 6 vod/cokes and a great meal for 18levs[less that a tenner.] great value and always some english people to talk too. Hubby wants to go back next year but if we do will try another hotel.

I must have been in the same weeks as you!!!
Goes to show - We never had any problems at all, however we didnt eat in the hotel apart from breakfast or sit by the pool as we went out every day - Our kids are grown up though so they werent with us.
I did hear the manager complaining and rightly so if it was correct, that the people from the UK have taken up the habit of putting their towels down in the morning to reserve sunbeds and going out.
Personally I wouldnt go back to the area, as in Sunny beach as its too much like blackpool with sun but I would go to rural Bulgaria.
Cant comment about bingo etc or the Brothers bar as we weren%26#39;t around.

Hiya myself my partner and my 3yr old daughter are just back and we stayed in the polysi apartments(the new build)and to be fair they were standard but very clean the only problem is we went self catering and there wasn%26#39;t any cooking facilities except a kettle and microwave. Both me and my daughter are very fussy and didn%26#39;t like the food there and with not being able to make anything we both lived on the packets of soup %26amp; noodles i had packed in my case.So go prepared for the kids because you may struugle for food for them like me luckily i was prepaired.
Hope That Helps Enjoy Your Holiday.
