Nightlife/Daylife busy around early september?

Hiya all

My girlfriend and I (both 30 ish) were hoping to get away for a week at the start of september, and were wondering if Sunny beach would be a good resort for us.

We%26#39;re after lively bars on the evening, and %26quot;busyish%26quot; sunny beaches and heated pools in the daytime!

We both fancied bulgaria and from the comments here sunny beach sounds nice... does it suffer from empty ghost town effect in early septmeber or is it still reasonably lively, with plenty to do?

We both love waterparks too! so it sounds like that base is covered.

Would really appreciate any advice.

The resort will begin to quieten down after about the 3rd week in Sept. Prior to this no problems.
