tinkerbell2402,
You have to make 2 decisions .
1 Take travellers cheques and if you lose them/get nicked they get replaced.
2. Take Sterling with you and keep safe in room somewhere (ideally the complex will have a safe to use!) and change up as and when you need Levs and get a much better rate than if you bought Levs in UK or change travellers cheques!
Me I always take cash with me, put it in the hotel/room safe and take out what I need.

ive just got back from a family holiday in bulgaria staying in sunny beach and me, my mum and 18 yr old nephew was all robbed of our jewerelly. 2 of my items was stolen out my hotel room and my bracelet was taken off my wrist one night we was out. a man ran past us one night and just ripped my mums chain straight off her neck and my nephew was pinned down on the beach and they took his chain and mobile phone. my advice is dont take any jewerelly with u cos that is what they like. leave it at home. it was a lovely place but u cant trust ant of them. we also had some money stolen out the hotel so be aware. hope u have a better time then we had xx

Please, please, please DO NOT leave money lying around in hotel rooms or anything valuable for that matter.
Purchase a safety deposit box or room safe and only take out what you need when you need it.
As for walking around with loads of jewellery on ,remember a lot of very poor people, quite a few of them gypsies, frquent the resorts and you will look like a meal ticket to them.
Take all your true gold off and use cheapo stuff for your hols, I and my other half always do.

Hi Tinker
We stayed at the Meridian for two weeks in Aug last year for our honeymoon in late Aug to aerly Sept, It was fantastic, it was clean and warm, the lifts were a nighmare and as we were on the top floor it was a bit of a nighmare but we coped. The food was ok and the beaches was amazing.
Im sure your gonna love it, there is an old sailors cafe accross the way and the food is lovely there and the people are very nice to
Enjoy
