Just back from Sunny beach

Hi,

We have arrived back from sunny beach and i must say the weather was excellent only rained for two nights.

We stayed at the Ivana Palace extremley clean decent sized pool and faily cheap.

Places to recmond to eat are deffently the ship which is on the main strip, Friends resturnat which is near victoria palace very nice and caters for the english.

Be aware of the beggers quite funny really little kid with a dog (dog looks healthy) and the woman holding a baby (baby helathy clean and well).

Avergae cost of night was roughly 60 lev which is about 30 quid that included drinks %26amp; evening meals.

Only problem was the flight from Varna 2 hour coach journey then arrived at airport and no air con very uncomfrotable.

All in all Sunny beach is a fantastic place.

You are lucky to have seen a gypsy with a proper baby, they were usually dolls that I saw.

Hi Cobby we are going to Sunny beach - Ivana Palace hotel in a week and 1/2,

How many was the meals for roughly 60lev?

We are a family of 2 aduts %26amp; 2 Children.

Were the rooms nice?

Was it reasonable for drinks at the hotel bar?

Was there safes in room or at reception if so do you know how much they were to hire?

Any more info would be appreciated.

Hi Lou,

The rooms were extremley clean and cleaned them every day.

The drinks in the bar were 3 lev each for a large beer which is roughly 1.50 but there are large beers. But you can get 4 cans for 6 lev down the round.

The cocktails in Ivana Palace are amazing.And the staff especially at the pool bar are brilliant.

Myself and girlfriend are both in our 20%26#39;s and Invana is especially catered for children especially at night as it is quiet and out from the main strip but the strip is any 10 mins walk away.

The beakfreast is poor to be fair and mainly catered for the Europeans.

I%26#39;d heard the breakfast wasnt brill, glad rooms sound nice. Doesnt sound to bad a price for hotel beers!!

Did it get busy round the pool - could you get a sunlounger or do you have to join the rest in putting towels out 1st thing!!! Lol

just got back last night,the poolside is busy and not enough beds for everyone,the first towels go down about 6 am and if your not down by 8 it could be too late

Thats what i had to do,if you can`t beat them join them,the weather was great 30+ most days, we did have rain on two evenings very heavy downpours but it was late evening so we didn`t mind,the hotel was great,large room and clean,breakfast was what we had expected after reading reports on this site,but went down most mornings,there is a nice place across from the hotel that does a good fry up i think it was 7 or 8 levs,The bar staff in the hotel are fantastic and it`s open all night ,hope you have a great holiday.
