Have managed to get a reply from the BeachBulgaria site from Carline. This is her words.

My sister n laws (brother and family ) stayed in these apartments last year , i just called them n they said apartments were grand , basic and clean, with air con. They had a 2 bed apt n said it was quiet spacious. They were a 2 mins away from the victoria palace , there was aliitle area of the pool that was for the kids, the main pool was not awfully big obv i dont know thats everyones individual opinion and there was a supermarket just beside them about 5 mins to the beach. Although the apts are about 7 years built they were well kept and some were privately owned they thought. These apartments had a lot of irish people on package hols as concorde travel do these apts flying from ireland.

Hope this helps

Caroline

HI,

Just back from the Efir, last night. Most of the apartments are owned by Irish/ english and good for familys. Close to the strip to be able to walk to in 5 mins and far enough back to be quiet at night. the complex is enclosed so the kids can play and you are not overlooked by passers by like a lot of apartments/ hotels. So u can sunbathe in peace.at the front of the apartments the public bus to the square stops and also the free shuttle buses to the waterparks stop there too. Take the public bus to the main square which is only 2 stops away for 1 lev per adult and kids under 7 are free. Also important for families if any one sprains an ankle etc or needs any medical treatment there is a medical centre 20 yards away in the Ivana palace hotel.

hope this helps,
