My wife and I are returning to SB this year on Aug 8th staying once again at the Iberostar sunny beach, we were there last year and had a really good holiday, the difference this year is that we will be on our own( the kids are now grown up and are doing their own thing) we are both in our early 50s and would like to know if anyone knew of a few good nightspots for that age group, we both like things to be a bit lively but are a bit to old for hiphop or grunge,we both like rock music, we also fancy doing the turkey trip if anyone has any advice or ideas it would be most welcome.

hi relayer we done the instanbul trip and highly recommend it,i wldnt bother doing the evening optinal trip because the hotel is right in the centre of the town and you can easily do your own thing,you are only stuck on a coach looking at a bridge thats lit up?and taken into town for eats but you only get an hour and its so busy you wld never get served in time,the morning trip much nicer on the river.the meals are included and were very good.best bit of advice i can give you is when you come back into bulgaria change your lira at the border, even if its for euros cos sb wont change lira we had to go to brouges to change ours back luckly we was going on a trip anyway next day.oh and dont forget your english tenners to pay to get into instanbul.any more info just ask

The Neptune has a live band on as does the Arizona.
Orange disco has put on another floor this year with it dedicated to 60%26#39;s music.

Thank you for for the replies just a couple of questions why do you need tenners to get back into bulgaria? and whereabouts is the neptune bar in sunny beach,
|||
you have to pay a £10 entrance fee to go into Turkey which you get a stamp on your passport and lasts for 3 months
|||
also dont make the mistake of handing in £20 note for 2 of you as they will just take that for one person it must be £10 note each
|||
The Neptune bar is right on the promenade. Go down the strip which has the Hotel Kuban on it and when you reach the beach turn right about 2 mins along the front. ( It%26#39;s next to the Iberostar hotel )
