This is by far the worst hotel we have ever been to. We are an international group using the conference facilities and have been abused, treated rudely by the staff as well as the manager when we tried to talk to him - we are university group of 40 people from all over Europe in a EU funde dproject and hope this message gets to anyone who is considering this hotel. Breakfast runs out all the time with no cofee, no juice , no eggs - simply aweful. Dont eat in the restaurant - food is so much better and cheaper outside in any other cafe or restaurant.

I stayed in the Vitosha Park in April 2008 and had a similar experience. I was there for two weeks and was miserable.
The first night there I walked into the restaurant and everyone was smoking, so I politely asked if there was a non-smoking area. I was shouted at in reply. The people at the front desk were polite, but most of the people in the restaurant were awful: they brought the wrong food, were rude, negligent, etc. (And that%26#39;s a pity because the food was pretty good.)
The biggest problem with the hotel is the location. Other than the university that empties out in the evening, there%26#39;s nothing around but fields and wild dogs. It%26#39;s difficult to get taxis in that area and some mornings I waited an hour for one.
Other problems with the hotel: the shops are unbelievably overpriced; the restaurant plays bad music that competes with the bad music being played in the piano bar; the TVs are 10%26quot;; the rooms don%26#39;t have a comfortable sitting chair.
