Luggage Allowance. How Strict

Hi All,

I am flying with Balkan airlines and the baggage allowance is 20KG as you probably know. I am planning on trying to take less holiday clothes LOL so I can buy some Fake designer goods to take home. My question is are they strict with the baggage allowance when I get return flight home or will they overlook a few Kilos or will they charge me. In the past returning from places like spain the staff seemed to overlook my luggage even though it was overwieght.

I would be very grateful for all your good advice again.

Hi all I can say based on previous years is that I think we have been a kilo or so out on the way out and god only knows how much out on the way home, but we got away with it. What of course I cannot say with any certainty is that you will too :)

In the brochure it says 20KG and 5Kg Hand luggage.

So in total you can take 25KG is this correct or is the 5KG hand luggage part of the 20kg. If anyone knows please let me know.

Hi Im just back %26amp; we were also allowed 20 kilos per person. On the way out I was about 21 kilos- and nothing was said.

On the way bak I was over 24 kilos. There was a sign saying 5 euro for every additional kilo overweight so I was expecting to pay up to 25 euro,but nobody said anything....Thank God! :)

I saw a person goin through the check in beside me with 32 kilos %26amp; nothing was said to them either so I dont know are they that strict!!?!!
