Kalofer hotel

Hi there,

Me and a friend are due to go to SB on August 8 for two weeks and are booked to stay at the hotel kalofer. I know that during this period its run by Escapades which means its basically 18-30 but i wandered if anyone had stayed there or knows anything about this hotel, ie is it nice etc

also where its positioned in regards to the beach, clubs etc??

Any information is greatly appriciated.

My Friends daughter just back from kalofer, she said it was very good, they were on B%26amp;B but never made it down to breakfast!! it is like an 18-30 hotel, but that suited them, the only down side was it was up an unlit alleyway, bit scary first night but after that ok, she had a great time all round and would go back, I was very glad as I had recommended Sunny Beach, and am infact going there at end of month,I think she said about 10 mins to beach, and it wasn%26#39;t a problem getting sunbeds at pool, hope this helps

Hi Sarah Allan! me n 6 of my mates are goin to kalofer on 1st August followed bye another 10 arriving the same day as u! guess i%26#39;ll be seein u soon haha, oh btw i know ur from aberdeen, we%26#39;re glasgow boys so expect alot of weegie banter!

aww wicked! well look out for a group of loud lads, and ask if there names are graham , dougie , macdo! there a gud laff so just give them a shout! aye i think it looks absolutely crackin, i cant wait, takin around 800 for two weeks, may of use are goin?

Well you can tell them they will find me in the bar at the airport ha ha! although i do hope i dont nearly miss my flight this year for being a steamer ha ha...i blame the airport for giving us stupid flight times i mean what else is there to do but sit and get wasted!

There is 2 of us going, me who is 26 and my friend who is 20. how old is all your lot?

Yep i was thinking about taking £800 as well, but hopefully the folk at the hotel like to get a carry out and drink on the balconys before we all go out as its cheaper that way and usually a right laugh!

Are you guys going to go straight out when you arrive as we all get in at like 4 am or something aint it?

Hopefully its scorchio as well!

haha brilliant! well the 6 of us are 21-22, the other 10 lads are 1 of our mates wee bro n his pals, the lads that fly out with u, there all 18-19! yeh pre bev on balcony every nite man!

ive heard that club lazur is reeli gd, n i reckon coz we%26#39;r goin with escapades they%26#39;ll be crackin pub crawls n that! its cheap as chips

you heard much about our hotel? ive not reeli been able to read much reviews on it.

yeh our flight out on firday nite is 9.15pm so will arrive at like 4am bulgarian time

Lazur is meant to be mint, from what i have read its got like 11 bars inside it and it has swimming pools...although not sure if thats a good idea when your steaming! Disco orange and club mania are also meant to be good, but its like anywhere really aint it, depends on the crowd etc , thats what makes your nights out good.

Ive seen loads of mixed reviews about the hotel, but from what i can gather its recently been refurbished!! at the end of the day though all you do is sleep there you can eat anywhere else and always go to the beach. as long as there are no bloddy germans! Another thing i have seen loads about is the hotel trying to keep your passport until you check out and then saying you damaged stuff you never and make you pay for it or wont let you have your passport back so thats worth noting, i have checked this and they need your passport for 1 day to register you in the country but thwy are not allowed to keep it so ill be demanding mine back as no way am i paying them for stuff i didna damage!! they can run ti....

Mmmmm ive not heard much about escapades or what they are like as a tour group. do you know how good they are and what sort of stuff they put on etc??

yeah i read that about the passprt thing aswell, yeh i%26#39;l be getting mine back right away! escapades are good ive been to malia twice and zante with them, there basically just the same as club 18-30! infact they are the same except different name, they do pub crawls booze cruise all that usual stuff, booze cruises are generally pants thou so will probs avoid that!

aye the rooms are meant to av a mini bar which ive been told not to touch as they charge an absolute bomb!

the beach looks absolutely crackin
