Has anyone stayed at the Majestic this year

Hi I would appreciate any information from anyone who has stayed at the Majestic.

I have booked a holiday staying there this Summer. The hotel looks beautiful but I wonder if looks can deceive.

If yopu have stopped there this year or last year have you any information, tips or thoughts on this hotel.

I believe there are two sittings for the evening meal - which sitting is recomended (we have no children travelling with us). We have also been told that staying at the Majestic entitles you to half price sunbeds on the beach. if this is correct how does this work and how much are the sunbeds.

Any information would be appreciated.

Also any reccomendations for bars or restaraunts around the vicinity of the Majestic.

Hi, we stayed at the Majestic this year from May30th til June 13th and had a fab time. I cannot fault the hotel at all and we are even booking up to go again next year to the Majestic. How the hotel looks in pictures is EXACTLY how it looks when you%26#39;re there. We travelled with my 3 year old daughter so opted for the earlier sitting of 6-7.30. I suppose it is all down to personal preference and when you like to eat. The hotel is spotlessly clean, those cleaners have severe stamina as they clean literally from morning til night every day! Pools are glorious and again very very clean. Alot of reviews said they were the coldest pools ever-i disagree. They are as cold as any pool ive ever been in abroad, so not quite sure where that idea comes from! Yes the sunbeds are half price on the beach. When you check into the hotel you receive a card thats in like a paper sleeve, all you do is show that paper sleeve to the sunbed man when he comes around to receive your discount. There is a beautiful Italian restaurant just 5 mins down the prom from the hotel called Salca De Mare i think-the food in there is devine and really fresh i.e if you like seafood. They also do ranges of pasta which are delicious too and reasonably priced. The hotel is a little bit pricey compared to if you go out for drinks etc For example the hotel charges 4.50lev for a beer whereas if you go to a bar away from the hotel you%26#39;re looking to pay 3.50 along the seafront and as little as 1lev inland! If you need any more info then im happy to answer your questions as i think im beginning to waffle a bit!!

Thanks for that information Londonsunny1 I will let you know what we thought of the Majestic in a little over a fortnights time as we are off there tomorrow.

You are right wellsdusky it does look a nice hotel.

We spotted it last year whist staying at the Wela and it was a toss up if we booked the M ajestic or the Victoria Palace.

|||

Well i think you made the right choice choosing the Majestic thats for sure-Victoria Palace, as grand as it might look has such a squashed looking pool area unlike the Majestic that has ample space. Have a lovely time!

Hi,

Got back from the majestic last friday and you have definately chosen the right hotel, its exactly how it look on the internet, its spotlessly clean, The cleaners work all day! The pools are freezing but well i think its so nice when you have been out in the sun for a few hrs to have a dip in the cool pool! I agree the italians down the road is lovely. The resort is not as cheap as i thought it would be and the drinks in the hotel are really expensive but the cocktail bar by the pool has 50% discount on all cocktails between 4.30PM to 7.00AM (i recommend the BBC, red apple and red summer all lovely). I wasnt too keen on the resort its self as it was too tacky and they are out to get yr money but we enjoyed it. Kahns tent is a must very good nite out and also the VIP cruise which we booked through thompsons was great! We also went on a day trip to varna and the dolphin show would not recomment this, varna is very run down with nothing to do. The weather was fab, we had one day of rain which lasted all day and the rest of the time it was well in its 30%26#39;s.

Hop this helps and if anyone has any questions just ask.

We got back from the Majestic on Monday and yes its a great hotel. The only fault is that the entertainment is not upto much. But there is plenty along the prom.

We had a great time while we were there and we will be going again. Its not as cheap as i was led to beleive but is still alot cheaper than here.

The only thing that spoilt my 2 weeks was getting ripped off by the rickshaw lads, they quote you 15 Levs a trip but when you get off they demand 50 Levs each person, and they don%26#39;t care how they get it. so stay clear of them

Hi,

I%26#39;m looking to book the Majestic, the reviews sound great. Could anyone tell me if it%26#39;s possible to go all inclusive once at the Hotel ?

Thanks.
