Is it better to go All inclusive or self catering?

I am looking to book to go in August/Sep to Sunny Beach, only cant decide whether to go all inclusive or self catering, the price difference is about £500. I was wondering how expensive food and drink is out there now, would me, the hubby and my little girl be likely to spend £500 on food and drink in 1 week. X

You couldn%26#39;t spend £500 on food and drink in a 14 day holiday.

I would definitely say self catering as there are so many places to pick from or why not go B%26amp;B ( look at the Hotel Oasis in Balkan brochure ) Very central for beach and resort centre )

Have stayed there twice myself without a problem.

Go thru%26#39; the back pages on forum and there are loads of threads on prices/restaurants.

When we went last year we went half board. This was cheaper than all inclusive and looking at the kind of hotel we wanted was a better option than going self catering in some of the other places.

One of the main considerations is what do you want from your accomodation? If you want basic facilities there are lots of places out there and plenty of lovely places to eat out. Toonman was right - you%26#39;d never spend that much in a fortnight!!!

We stayed at the Iberostar Tiara Beach as wanted something that wasn%26#39;t above the local nightlife which was perfect for us, a five minute walk to town and opposite the beach. We ate out a couple of times whilst there and was def value for money.

Whichever option you choose once you%26#39;re out there you%26#39;ll have a fab time with lots of choice!

I would also say go B%26amp;B food there is excellent.

We stayed in the Laguna Park B%26amp;B and our friends stayed at the Trakia Plaza half board- as with 2 children a family room there came in cheaper- but they ate out a lot.

It is really reasonable for food and drink.
